To actively pursue God’s mission in this world
We live in a broken, confusing, crazy world. We’re in the mess that we are because we thought we knew better than God. Instead of worshipping the Creator God, we have worshipped His creation. (Romans 1:25) We have turned away from God and so we see what it looks like to live on our own. The good news? God didn’t leave us to our own devices, but sent His son on a rescue mission. Jesus Christ came into this world to restore this world. He took all our sin on himself and he died the death that you and I deserved to die. He was raised to life by the incredible power of God and now has full authority over everything. He welcomes you to join him and be a part of the new community He is building. Are you connected to Jesus? If you want to experience true reconciliation and restoration , you have to admit that you can’t fix yourself. In fact, you have to stop trusting in yourself and place all your hope in Jesus Christ, who is God. It means being intentional about turning away from all the things and philosophies that control your thoughts and actions so that you can turn completely to follow Jesus.
Like any relationship, it will deepen as you spend more time together. We encourage you to pursue your relationship with Christ by getting to know him better through the bible. He’s not secretive, He wants you to know him, to understand his heart, to experience his love. He’s for you all the way. He also wants you to know that you’re not on your own. He wants you to meet the rest of the family.
